The following books will make a great addition to your library to use along with Lightlab. They are also available on Amazon, Christianbook, Barnes & Noble, and rainbowresource.com.
This is a great Read- Aloud book that will engage anyone above eight years old- adults. It is rich with scientific events including Faraday’s discoveries, and it provides exemplary lessons about managing challenges in God honoring ways.
This book is a resource on many scientists who honored God as their creator and redeemer. I often refer to it when teaching my Physics Students.
This book is a wonderful complement to the content of Lightlab. It describes several concepts related to light, while narrating a story about a King who wanted to get rid of His shadow.
This Astronomy textbook by Jeannie Fulbright makes an excellent addition to Lightlab, as it expands on astronomy with a Christian worldview. I used this with a group of homeschoolers and was very pleased.
COMING NEXT Below are special topic courses that I have been leading in person. They are designed for middle school students and higher. They can be taught in one week (3hrs/day) or throughout 15 weeks. They can be conducted online or in person.The topics include:
