For the past years, our family has been maintaining the tradition of opening the Jesus present on Christmas Eve. We went through many Adventures in Odyssey CDs all the way to CS Lewis collections, and anything else that will enhance our faith in Christ. Recently, I was pleasantly surprised when someone told me that she bought Lightlab books as Christmas presents.
Come to think of it, the first chapter of Lightlab describes sources of light and their importance, followed by fun activities with electric circuits and light. The Bible study section discusses why God is compared to light, and retells the story of the magi who were led to Jesus by a star.
Last week, I had the privilege to run another workshop based on the first chapter of Lightlab “ Let There be Light ! “
Below are some photos of the workshop:
Thank you Father God for your gift to us and the sweet fragrance of the Holy Spirit during Christmas, drawing your children closer to Jesus the Light of the world.
John 8:12 12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
